Beyond Belief

Last week to catch the exhibition Beyond Belief in Berlin curated by Britta Adler.
44 artists from 17 countries ask what spirituality means today. Across 500sqm, the paintings, sculptures, photographs, and installations present a sensual, critical, or interactive artistic exploration of the forms of contemporary and earlier waves of spirituality.
Included in this exhibition are several mediumistic drawings obtained during séances of the Swedish Eldelweiss Förbundet from 1890 onward. Hilma af Klint was a member of this Spiritualist federation and produced a number of her early mediumistic drawings during their meetings.
