BIOGRAPHY
Gustav Leiss was a medium of the Malik Spiritualist Circle in Vienna, Austria. In the 1920s he produced a large number of drawings, mainly of fantastic plants. Most of the works are signed with the name of the spirit guide "Raphael".
Especially the finely graded pencil drawings by von Gustav Leiss show an astonishing artistic ability. In a way, they are reminiscent of the works of the Silesian mediumistic artist Josef Kotzian (1889-1960).
Unfortunately, nothing is known about his life.
